Pastor Alprentice (Shenard) Jones & 1st Lady Darneshia Jones

Our Story

My name is Alprentice (Shenard) Jones. I am the husband of Darneshia Jones, a father to my five children: Caiden, Cashmiere, Amazing Grace, Sir'Princeton and My'Kingston Jones, and the son of Erma Jones and the late Eddie Evans, Sr. Both of my parents attended and graduated from the Daingerfield-Lone Star public school system. I was born in Pittsburg, TX, lived in Daingerfield and attended DLISD.

I graduated from Daingerfield High School with the class of 2001 and from the Kilgore College LVN Nursing Program in 2018. I serve as Charge Nurse at The Pittsburg Nursing Center in Pittsburg, Tx.  

I am the former Youth Pastor of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and I have worked with children from all age groups. I am the proud Pastor of New Birth Baptist Church in Lone Star, Tx. I am a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc where our motto is "Culture For Service and Service For Humanity." I currently serve as a Morris County Advocate for Misguided Youth and assist at-risk youth with personal issues dealing with law enforcement as well as other personal issues. I have been a little league football coach since 2008, an assistant basketball coach, and T-Ball Coach for Daingerfield Little League. I also served as Assistant Football Coach and Head Track Coach for Romeo Prep Academy in Paris, TX from 2013-2014.

 I am an advocate for today's youth and I work hard to be a positive influence for them and to make sure their lives are on a positive track.
